Advanced and Intermediate Band: Please come to school dressed in concert tuxedos and black dresses along with black dress shoes and dress socks.
Beginning Band: Gentlemen need to come to school dressed in dress pants/khakis, a button up shirt, tie, dress shoes, and dress socks. Young ladies need to come to school dressed in a dress, stockings, and dress shoes. This is the same dress code that was explained for the Winter Festival.
THIS IS THE ONLY PERFORMANCE GRADE FOR THE 3RD NINE WEEKS!
These pictures will happen in the morning, so please make sure to bring a change of clothes to change into for the remainder of the school day.

As you may have heard from your child, band pictures were cancelled today. The students were notified yesterday during school, but I understand that some students did not attend school yesterday and were unaware of this change.
We will announce and post the new date for band pictures as soon as we know an exact date.

The students have been doing an excellent job in class to prepare their first concert of the year! As our calendar stated that we passed out at the beginning of the year, the students will perform at the Winter Festival Concert on Saturday, December 10th. Call times and performance times are listed below. Students are to arrive at Call Times dressed for performance when they exit the car. A student is not on time for a Call Time unless they are in their seat with their instrument and music.
All performances will be in the High School Auditorium.
Beginning Band - Call time: 8:40 on the High School Auditorium Stage
(1st and 5th periods) Performance time: 9:00 A.M.
Beginning Band - Call time: 9:40 on the High School Auditorium Stage
(3rd period) Performance time: 10:00 A.M.
Intermediate Band - Call time: 10:40 on the High School Auditorium Stage
Performance time: 11:00 A.M.
Advanced Band - Call time: 11:40 on the High School Auditorium Stage
Performance time: 12:00 P.M.
Dress for Beginning Band Performing Members:
Gentlemen: Young men will wear dress pants, dress shoes, a button down shirt that buttons the entire way (not just a three button golf shirt), and a tie. Any young man who is unable to tie a neck tie may bring it to the band room before school on Friday, December 9th for assistance.
Young Ladies: Young ladies will wear dresses, hose, and dress shoes. A skirt and blouse may only be worn with approval of a director prior to Wednesday, December 7th.
Dress for Intermediate and Advanced Band Members:
Gentlemen: Young men will wear tux shirts, pants, cummerbund, bow tie, and black shoes and black socks.
Young Ladies: Young ladies will wear their performance dresses with black shoes. Only one stud earring per ear and one necklace will be allowed as jewelry.
As stated in the Procedures and Expectations given out at the beginning of the school year, if a student is late to Call Time or not dressed properly upon arrival, this will result in a marked deduction of their performance grade.
We hope you will make plans to attend all of the performances on Saturday, December 10th. The students have been doing a wonderful job in class to prepare this concert!

The Cheesecake/Tumbler Order is coming in on Wednesday, November 9th!!!!
Students that have orders of TUMBLERS ONLY will be given their tumblers at school to take home with them.
Students that have ONE CHEESECAKE/REFRIGERATED ITEM will be given their item at school to take home with them.
ALL OTHER ORDERS MUST BE PICKED UP AFTER SCHOOL ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 9th FROM THE BAND ROOM FROM 3:30PM - 6:30PM!
There will not be a refrigerator available to keep the items chilled if orders are not picked up. The items come shipped to us frozen, so it is essential to pick up the orders that day.
Also, we will need parent volunteers to help separate the orders from 12:00PM - 3:30PM. If you are able to help, please contact the Dr. Walker or Mrs. Wambles. We truly appreciate your help!!

Dear parents,
The Tuxedos and formal Black dresses are being ordered this week for Intermediate and Advanced Band members.
The cost is $49 and is due November 16th. If your family cannot meet November 16th due to financial hardship, please make contact with me so we can make arrangements. This is required wear for the performances. The students will get at least 5 uses of the concert attire this year.
Those who had one last year were instructed last week to see if their tuxes and dresses still fit and order what they needed by this week.
As always, the money is due to the main office with exactly what it is intended written on the "for" line of the check. Please make checks out to CCMS Band.
